Ironically I did. I had a '73 Les Paul Custom that I dropped some Dimarzios in. Then I got in a trade a GTX Les Paul Copy (GTX parent company is Ovation) to my surprise the Gibby didn't sound or play any better than my beloved '73. So I actually sold the Gibby and bought some other gear with the dough.

Double covered single coil and a bridge humbucker, Floyd copy, three way switch, vol and tone knob, and maybe a mini switch or three.
